The film is a love letter both to Cuarón’s mother, Cristina Orozco, and to his family’s maid, Libo Rodríguez, who played a pivotal role in raising him. The film has lot to say about class,gender,etc. I personally feel that the movie is quite emotional and also potraits the bitter truth of life which many people go through. After watching this movie, what first hit my mind was that, sometimes how hard and helpless some people’s life can be. Some people go through so much in their life and still smile at the end. Also, life teaches us some many lessons. The story of this film is also touching, realistic, serious, and provoking. The filmmaker is on our side, not trying to bash us over the head. Most affecting and most memorable are the small, fleeting moments of joy and beauty, touches that make Roma another Cuaron masterpiece. Most certainly Roma is a movie worth watching!
